Mt Garfield - Sunday January 15, 2012

Jen, MEB, Kim and I spent a night at Tony's place in Thornton. The weekend forecast was cold all across the mountain region, we decided to hike Mt Garfield since the trail is more sheltered, only the summit is exposed. We started the hike around 9 AM. Parked just before the gate, and started the short and level road walk to the trail head. The temperature when we started the hike was about -6F, it probably was still in the single digit when we finished around 3PM.
