On our way to Mt Liberty, we ran into a grouse in the middle of the trail. At first we thought it was cool to see the bird. We stopped an took pictures. As soon as we're about to move on, we noticed something odd about this grouse, it was pacing around Damon's feet wouldn't let him leave.

Damon used his trekking poles guided the bird off the trail, but it came right back and followed him. As I was trying to overtook the bird and out ran it, it flew over my head (according to eye witnesses it tried to peck my head but it didn't get to me) and landed right infront of me and behind Damon. It was obsess wth Damon or his red bandana.

Or may be it's just another case of attack on papparazzi. Damon though the bird wanted the loyalty fee from the pictures we took. With that attitude?
