Trails: Gale River Tr to the Hut, Frost Tr to Galehead mountain, Garfield Ridge Tr to Mt Grafield, descent via Garfield Tr.

I suggested we took Gale River Tr up to the Hut and Galehead Mtn first before heading over to Mt Garfield, thinking that we could carry less water up to the mountain and refill from the Hut before heading over to Garfield.

It was a good strategy but unfortunately for a day like today when the morning was partly cloudy and rain in the afternoon, we traded off the awesome views on Garfield with a moderate view from the hut. But of course the weather forecast I read was vague about it, only stated that 30% chance of shower all day. And we're "lucky" enough to fall into the 30% chance this afternoon (and it wasn't shower, it was rain). Not completely my fault, but I did feel bad for the decision and that Hanna didn't got to see the awesome views from Garfield today. On the other hand, for someone who accused me of being addicted to views, I supposed she wouldn't mind missing out :-)
