I was very curious about where we were and how we missed the trail, so when Damian emailed me to join a hike with Ed, instead, I suggested we went back to retrace our footsteps.

Despite an easy (flat) hike, we decided to start early anyway to avoid stuck in the dark again.

We arrived at the Zealand Trailhead around 6:45 AM, Zealand road was covered with 2-3" of snow. We started the hike around 7 AM.
