Damian and I met up at the 19 MI Brook Trailhead at 6:30 AM, we spotted my car there and drove Damian's to Pinkham Notch visitor center. We signed in at the center and asked the lady at the front desk for trail conditions. She recommended against crossing Ellis River, so decided to parked at the center and took Lost Pond Trail to Wildcat Ridge. We're a little concern about few possible icy spots on Wildcat Ridge trail, but decided we'd give it a try, worst case scenario was to turn back, no big deal.

We started the hike around 7:15 AM.
