| This was my first Summit Sensations annual meeting. The event was held at Zealand Falls Hut. This was also my first AMC hut stayover.
The hike to Zealand Falls Hut was usually a brisk, but since the Zealand Road was gated for the winter, it added 3.7 mi of road walk to the hike. I don't mind 3.7 mi of wooded trail, but a road walk psychologically just annoyed me.
Anyway, the group met up at the parking lot on route 302 at 9 AM, started the hike around 9:30 AM. The weather forecast was supposedly in single digit, but it wasn't cold at all.

Note to self:
Started the hike with REI shell, Duofold base and EMS Techwick. Blue base pants and EMS Wildcats shell. Removed Duofold at the Zealand Trail trailhead. NF Chute. Glove liner and hat liner.
